NJ Gov Murphy, Where Is The Money?

port colden, warren county NJ

“New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy and the Democratic leaders of the Legislature say they’ve reached a deal to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2024. The Democrats announced the deal Thursday in a statement. If the proposal is enacted, it would raise the current rate from $8.85 to $10 by July 1. It would then climb by $1 a year until reaching $15 in 2024.”

We dont know what this means obviously we will drop dead before $15 in 2024. What? New Jersey politicians seems like a distant dream, far, far away from the counties, Sussex, Warren or anywhere except close to New York where they wine and dine and socialize. The politicians or business people hardly know us in this state. Graduates have to flee New Jersey to get jobs. The dire is so dead in New Jersey. Some of the houses stay empty, some rot away, neglected for long stretch of time. Around here the only richest family is the M&M Candy factory and its practically impossible to get a job there.

Money is scarce around here too.

As for startups, the market here is all franchised or chained stored and an entrepreneur can remain anonymous for ages without help from anyone. We are intellectually dead because of New Jersey. We are so dead here that there’s no need to say declined. Graduates should have a hub for startups around here and not feel so neglected. Houses here have not been sold for years except for the occasional raccoon or skunk passing by to pee.

Its declined quiet.
